En Vogue Atlanta Concert reviews
Where did my John Mayer Go?
This show was a technical flop, being the first on their new tour. Way too loud, the bass on drums caused my ears to pop 24 hours later. The backgrounds were fun to look at and interesting until you felt like you were on a 3D ride and wanted to get off. 20% of the audience began to leave after 4 or 5 songs because they were playing new songs that no one had ever heard before, and even the songs we knew were changed to country/folk twang. Behind me, the people kept begging, "Please, please play something from Room for Squares, that is why I came to this!" They were not going to play such a thing; instead, they were going to jam those new songs down our throats. I have been a fan for over 10 years & been to their concerts in 5 different states, which number in the double digits. This was the most disappointing show I have seen, not so much for me but for everyone else.
